“The Stephen Lewis Foundation eases the pain of HIV and AIDS by supporting the terrifically effective efforts of grassroots organizations in sub-Saharan Africa. We assist women who are living with HIV, and dying in massive numbers; children orphaned by AIDS; grandmothers who bury their children, and then care for their grandchildren, and courageous groups of people living with HIV and AIDS. We have been touched and amazed by the response of individuals across Canada, whose generosity has allowed us to fund more than 270 community initiatives in 15 countries over the last five years. Eat My Words exemplifies this response with their humanity, generosity of spirit, and tireless commitment to helping communities struggling in the grips of this pandemic. We cannot honour Eat My Words enough for their ongoing support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. And, as if that were not enough, their cakes and cupcakes are given with such obvious love and attention to detail; they are spectacular in presentation and remarkably delectable.”
